LTT 313 ED Tripod Turnstile
The turnstile is designed to be suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. However, if it will be operated in extremely humid or very dusty areas, optional solutions are provided, provided that it is specified in the order. The turnstiles can be used for single or bidirectional passage. These passages can be controlled or free. Even if both passages are controlled by a card reader, the end user can allow free entry or exit at certain times.
In the event of a power outage, the turnstiles allow free passage. This is a legal requirement. However, if it is desired to remain locked when the power is cut off, it can be optionally provided with the customer's written instruction (it will always stay that way). The rotation direction of the turnstile (for entry and exit) is determined by internal sensors. The centering of the turnstiles after passage occurs mechanically and smoothly through the use of a spring and hydraulic shock absorber, which is a feature of the mechanism.
In cases of rapid evacuation, such as during a fire or earthquake, the front arm of the turnstile will drop or slide aside with a contact received from the company's fire or earthquake alarm system, provided as an option. This ensures free escape. Similarly, for protocol passages, the front arm can be dropped by pressing a button to allow free passage for special visitors.
